Met the CEO shortly after he approached me after I talk I gave at Kapor Capital. 

I became an official advisor shortly thereafter.

Since then, I’ve provided him with everything I wished I had as a young founder of color including but not limited to: emotional support, financial support, impromptu strategy sessions and continued product feedback.

CEO is a young founder so I also helped him break into Silicon Valley. I also introduced him to several key people in my network (some of whom invested in the company).

Our co-development games have generated $10+ millions dollars, been featured in Top 10 US (all games), Top 25 US (all apps), Top 2 (US-Strategy & other categories), & top grossing lists.

I formally advised the CEO on technology, company and team building efforts from day zero (pre-product) through Series A.

I interviewed and greenlit many of the key members of the C-Suite including their eventual CTO.

I also advised CEO on fundraising, in addition to providing her with general executive support.

GrubSquad is a food delivery service designed to help consumers save time and energy, by having their favorite meals delivered to them, at their convenience, from any restaurant or food establishment of their choice. 

We generated over $1M+ for our partner restaurants.

I engineered GrubSquad's Technical Architecture. This included

- Brand New Web Application for Ordering (includes automated order routing)
- Built Customer Facing Mobile Applications (iOS & Android)
- Built Agent Applications (iOS & Android)

We ultimately shuttered the business due to heavy competition.

Music For Tomorrow is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to stimulate the creative economy by fostering performance opportunities for jazz musicians across the country. Through these efforts, it seeks to raise public awareness of the beauty of jazz music, as well as the extraordinary culture it has to offer. 

Music For Tomorrow was founded by Jude Law, Alexa Pulitzer, Kabir Sehgal and Brent Reidy. Other members of the board include Wynton Marsalis and Dave Matthews.

I was responsible for creating MFT's gig booking platform using CodeIgniter (PHP + MySQL backend). Visit www.musicfortomorrow.org to see the project. As Director of Technology, I led all development and technology related efforts. 

We generated over 200 gigs for musicians and increased the visibility of many of our musicians (indirectly leading to more opportunities).

MFT merged with Afro Latin Jazz Alliance (ALJA) in December 2014.

- Increased responsibility including new hire mentorship.
- Interviewing Junior/Mid-level Candidates.
- One of the primary leads for any new front end requirements / features.
- Early Adopter of Git (Transitioned from SVN)

- Involved in developing several aspects of the MyVest Strategic Portfolio System (SPS) platform, a portfolio management system managing over $3B dollars of assets under management.
- Implemented Front End with Java (J2EE) standard (Struts, Spring)
- Implemented and prototyped several aspects of one of our applications using Adobe Flex 3.

Worked for NetFPGA group. Advisor was Professor Nick McKeown.
Responsible for writing Perl module to interface with Intellapatch switches and wrote a priority arbiter in Verilog to be
used in the implementation of a Packet Generator being designed for the group.
